Posting here on a late Sunday night (sometimes staying up to see Robot Chicken is worth it), and thus proving to a few friends that I DO TOO update my blog....just not as often as some would like.
So here's a little more personal posting. Enjoy.
Took my 6-year-old daughter to see Ice Princess today. She loved it, but made note that the lead actress is Buffy's sister. Sigh. Her level of pop culture awareness and her sense of humor are going to be SO far off the charts. But, despite her new-found ability to work for IMDB, she still is a 6-year-old. We danced in the front of the theater to the credits' music until the lights came up. Gotta love that kid.
I should hear back from my web designer this week and we should have finished product for the site ASAP. We went with the white logo (with only one red swoosh). It won fair and square on a DailyKos poll, and you dance with those who brought you.
Tuesday I get to see LeBron James in person, as my Cavaliers take on the New Jersey Nets in Cleveland. I rarely have time to see a full Cavs game on TV, so this is a real treat for me. Here's hoping that my co-conspirator in this trip to the Cavs game can stay awake on the ride up....she's working a late shift on Monday and has classes to attend Tuesday morning. The chants of "MVP" will surely keep her going, but we shall see how loud she can cheer.
Thursday is the big day for me, however. 36 years ago that day, I was born. Yep, I will hit the big 36. Funny, I don't feel a day over 34. If anybody cares, Jackie Chan, Russell Crowe, and Jennifer Schwalbach-Smith (Kevin Smith of "Clerks" fame's wife) were also born April 7th.

P.S. Believe it or not, I'm doing some political stuff in there this week too. I got that whole 2006 election to think about....don't think I'm slackin' off from that now!
